MD. ARIF HOSSAIN
CEO and Executive Director
Md. Arif Hossain, CEO and Executive Director of Farming Future Bangladesh is leading the project in close collaboration and supervision of the Cornell Alliance for Science. He is the former communications director of the Feed the Future South Asia Eggplant Improvement Partnership. He previously served as a senior specialist in outreach and communication for the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). Mr. Hossain’s experience has encompassed international development organizations, human rights, civil society and community engagement, media and science communication in national and international arena. He is a 2015 Alliance for Science Global Leadership Fellow and remains a Visiting Fellow and Honorary Visiting Scientist at the Cornell University.
SADIQUE UDDIN
Senior Manager, Project Management & Communication
Sadique Uddin is positioned to lead communication activities of Farming Future Bangladesh (FFB) as Senior Manager, Project Management and Communication. He has over 10 years of work experience in the Communication field with a history of working in various national media outlets, advertising agencies, private profit & non-profit and corporate organizations. Sadique is skilled in Communication Strategy Planning, Media Communication and Project Management. He worked with IUCN Bangladesh, WildTeam, Bengal Group Ltd. and Eminence. Furthermore, in the process of developing and rolling out a fundraising campaign in 2011, he conducted countrywide market research ‘’To Understand the Donation Pulse of Bangladeshi People’’. He was associated with the Zoological Society of London funded ‘Rickshaw Ride to Save the Tiger’ and ‘Save Tiger to Save Sundarbans’, and a USAID funded campaign on ‘Effective Health Journalism’. Sadique received a Master’s degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor Degree in Media and Communication Studies.

Gazi Shameem Hosain, Manager – Finance & Admin of Farming Future Bangladesh Ltd., has completed M. Com degree with B. Com (Honors) major in Accounting. I have over 14 years of work experience in Accounts, Finance & Administration. My expertise lies in an ability to effectively interact with clients and vendors, identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions to achieve financial & administrative management objectives. I have worked with Eusof Group, WARID Telecommunication International Ltd., Powerbreeze Engineering Ltd., Rishilpi Development Project funded by TDH and Onlus, Grameen Trust, PRIP Trust funded by SDC, MJF & USAID and United Purpose Formerly Known as Concern Universal funded by IOM, Coca-Cola, Blue Gold, UKAID, Big Lottery Fund, DFID, Penny Appeal, EU and USAID. I am confident enough to give the optimum satisfaction to carry out all responsibilities and challenges as required for the organization.

Atkia Waseka Rahman, Manager, Communication & Outreach in Farming Future Bangladesh (FFB), is working on brand and communication material development, website and social media content development and production of training materials. Waseka is an experienced communication professional with a demonstrative track record in marketing and advertising industry. She is experienced in brand communication, digital marketing, content development and campaign management in both public and private sector. Waseka has a successful demonstration of voluntary work in different national and international organizations and currently serving as the Senior Vice President of “United Nations Youth and Student Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB) and founding member & advisor at Project Pothchola, a project concerning with the children of sex-workers in Bangladesh. She has completed her Bachelor in Business Administration from East West University in Bangladesh.

Assistant Manager, Communication & Outreach
A M Mahmudul Hasan, Assistant Manager, Communication & Outreach in Farming Future Bangladesh (FFB), is on board for event management, community engagement, capturing and presenting success stories, material production and procurement, photography and videography, vendor and partnership management. Prior to Farming Future Bangladesh, he has played a significant role in “March for science” campaign of Cornell Alliance for Science in Bangladesh and worked in a number of video productions of Alliance for Science and FTFBP project. He has more than 8 years’ experience in AV production, marketing and service-oriented industry. He has completed his Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology in Bangladesh.

Assistant Manager, Finance & Admin
Sharmin Akter, Assistant Manager – Finance & Admin of Farming Future Bangladesh Ltd., has completed BBA degree major in Finance from Bangladesh University. I have started my career with Kingshuk Bhohumukhi Shomobai Shomity in 2014. Then I have worked with Monir Technical Line and Banglalink. I am responsible for providing bookkeeping, cash management, payment preparations, Banking, Human Resource and general administrative support for FFB office. I am able to successfully supervise a limited number of staff. I have high ethical and moral standards, good ability to communicate about financial matters, excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work with various national and international team members and flexibility to adapt to different work conditions. I have Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet and familiarity with internet-based software systems. I am committed to give my best to carry out all responsibilities and challenges as required for the organization.
MOHAMMAD ZAHID IMRAN

Zahid Mohammad Imran is an Associate in the Communication & Outreach department of Farming Future Bangladesh (FFB). Imran has completed his bachelor’s in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering from Noakhali Science and Technology University and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from North South University, Dhaka. He started his career with FFB as an Intern and now working as a Science Communicator. His knowledge in Genetically Engineered Organisms and Biosafety regulation helps FFB develop communication and advocacy strategy. Imran has excellent analytical skills and positive attitudes in any situation. He loves to travel, interacting with people from different communities, working for community engagement and mobilization. Imran believes, to build a better future for our next generation and the planet, all the innovations and benefits of science need to reach everyone.
SULTANA ASHRAFI
Associate, Communication, and Outreach
Sultana Ashrafi is positioned as an Associate, Communication, and Outreach in Farming Future Bangladesh (FFB). Initially, she started her career with FFB as an intern. Currently, Sultana is closely working for the youth community engagement and mobilization. She pursued her master’s degree in Business Administration from North South University specialized in Marketing and completed her Bachelor’s in Urban and Regional Planning from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. Sultana is an effective member of the Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP). During her student life, she was very active in various clubs. Sultana always believes that a goal without a plan is just a wish.

H M Golam Mortuza is a seasoned graphic designer with over two decades of experience in digital and print visual content creation. He is currently working as a senior visualizer at Ray Communications. At Farming Future Bangladesh, Mortuza is a consultant for creative visual contents.
