Farming Future Bangladesh (FFB) is a comprehensive communications initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to help improve awareness about modern agricultural innovations, including crop biotechnology, in Bangladesh. Based in Dhaka, it operates under the auspices of the Cornell Alliance for Science, an initiative of Cornell University, USA. FFB aims to share evidence-based information about the social, economic, and environmental benefits of modern agricultural innovations.
FFB seeks outstanding individuals for a 12-week Internship program well suited to the individual aiming to advance his/her career in the national and international job sector and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. FFB is inviting applications from qualified Bangladeshi Nationals for the internship program.

Responsibilities
Work with the communication and outreach team for the implementation of communication and outreach activities.Work with the team to develop content for the website and social media.Support communication team to implement Youth for Science campaign activities.Draft meeting minutes, contents for communication material, media tracking, media monitoring, and translating contents.Help and support admin and finance team for day-to-day work in relation to the assigned activities.Prepare and share reports of assigned tasks in an effective and efficient way.Implement any other activity as assigned by the team member and senior management.
Qualification
Advanced university degree in English/Development Studies/International Relations/Mass Communication/Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering/Agriculture/Fine Arts/Finance/Web development or any other discipline.Proven ability to think creatively and work under pressure and tight deadline.Excellent communications proficiency both in spoken & written English and Bangla.Advanced computer skills in Microsoft word, excel, and PowerPoint.
Internship Detail
Program Duration: 12-week
Remuneration: BDT 10,000/month
Other Benefits: As per organizational policy.
Location: Dhaka with the ability and willingness to travel and stay outside Dhaka as and when required.
