Farming Future Bangladesh (FFB) is a comprehensive communications initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to help improve awareness about modern agricultural innovations including crop biotechnology in Bangladesh.

Executive Program at GLFP

Cornell Alliance for Science invites executives from the fellowship participant’s countries to attend a seven-day program in Cornell University. In this program the expats learn about the Cornell Alliance for Science, their works, mission and vision.

This program allows the Global Leadership Fellows to present their in-process strategic plans and Fellows and leadership align on future strategy in front of the executives. The experience and knowledge of the executives helps GLFP fellows to shape their idea into practically implantable and precise according to their country condition.

This program also includes a field day to see local sites in Ithaca, New York. In 2019 fellowship program five Bangladeshi expats participated in this program who are Arif Hossain, CEO & ED of Farming Future Bangladesh, Dr. Abdul Muyeed, Director General of DAE, Hamidur Rhaman, former Director General of DAE, Dr. Md. Jahangir Hossain Country Coordinator of FtF 3R-gene Potato, MSU, USA and FtF Bt Eggplant, Cornell University, USA & Sathguru Mgt Contants.
